To transfer ownership of a vehicle, motorcycle, mobile home, trailers, travel trailers, ATV's, and vessels you will need to bring in certain documents. Please see below for specific information.

What is need for transfer of ownership:
To transfer any type of vehicle, trailer or mobile home you will need the following documents. This includes transferring from another state. For transfers from another state please see.
For all cars, trucks, SUV's, motorhomes, and motorcycles.
- Title signed by seller and purchaser
- Preferably a bill of sale. Click here.
- Application for transfer. Click here.
- Florida insurance card. (not needed for motorcycles)
- Some out of state titles require a bill of sale if they don't have a section to put the selling price or date sold.
For Vessels:
- Title signed by seller and purchaser.
- Preferably a bill of sale. Click here.

- Some out of state titles require a bill of sale if the title does not have a section to put the selling price or date sold. Some states don't have titles for vessels. In that case we would need the registration from the previous owner and a bill of sale.
For Mobile Homes:
- Title signed by seller and purchaser. If it is a single wide it will be one title. If it is a double wide it will be two titles.
- Preferably a bill of sale for each title. Click here. One for each title.
- Please be sure if it is a double wide to split the purchase price in half. Half the price on one title and half the price on the other title.
